Founded in 1961 on the initiative of summer camp directors, the ACQ's mission is to recognize and promote the quality and educational value of the CAMP experience in Quebec by bringing together organizations offering a summer camp, day camp, nature class, family camp or group program, with a view to supporting, promoting and ensuring its quality.

The ACQ group of camps meets the highest standards of quality and safety. The ACQ is the only organization in Quebec to regularly visit camps to ensure that they rigorously meet over 70 standards! These standards cover safety, quality of supervision and staff training, among other things.

TRAINING
FIRST AID - DAY CAMP

Académie Saint-Bernard offers specific training to meet the first-aid training requirements for day camp counselors. Available in a hybrid or in-person format, this training enables camp counselors to acquire all the tools they need to intervene in the event of a medical emergency. It helps create a safer, more reassuring day camp environment for all participants.
