By taking part in our first aid training, you'll learn to :
- Assess emergency situations and make appropriate decisions.
- Administer first aid for common injuries such as cuts, burns and fractures.
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Provide basic life support until professional help arrives.
First Aid - Intermediate level (16h) - CSA Z1210-17 compliant
Upon successful completion of this 16-hour Intermediate First Aid course, the candidate will receive a valid certification that meets the requirements for "First Aid intermediateTraining" as set out in CSA standard Z1210-17.
First aid - Adapted to early childhood (8h)
Following the success of this First-Aid Adapted to Early Childhood training, you will be able to apply the correct intervention protocol (s) in the presence of a child with a medical, traumatic, psychosocial or allergic distress. You will also be able to identify and apply the correct techniques to avoid the risk of contamination. You will be aware of the various precautions to take everyday.
General First Aid - Foster care & Adoption (16h)
Welcome to the "General First Aid - Foster care & Adoption (16h)" training course. This 16-hour training course is specially designed for foster families and adoptive parents, to prepare you to deal with a variety of emergency situations that may arise in a family setting. You'll learn the essential skills to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in your care, acquiring practical knowledge in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and emergency management specific to your environment. Our aim is to give you the tools you need to respond confidently and effectively, protecting lives and enhancing the safety of your home.
First Aid - Healthcare provider (16h) - CSA Z1210-17 compliant
Upon successful completion of this 16-hour CSA Z1210-17 First Aid training course for healthcare professionals, the candidate will receive a certification valid for a period of two (2) years that meets the requirements of "Intermediate First Aid Training" as set out in CSA Z1210-17.
Since this training is geared towards healthcare professionals, the candidate will be required to update his or her priority skills one year after successful certification.
This comprehensive training must be repeated every two (2) years to maintain active certification status.

You will also be able to identify and apply the proper techniques to avoid the risk of contamination. You will be aware of the various precautions to take on a daily basis.
