Breast Cancer Awareness Month
For Pink October, let's fight breast cancer by learning life-saving skills.
Gesture of support
Because our mission is to help build a safer future, one training session at a time, Académie Saint-Bernard wanted to show its support for the cause. So, during this month, in addition to helping you learn life-saving gestures, we want our training to help build a safer future for all those who may one day face a breast cancer diagnosis.
Advances in research have led, among other things, to earlier diagnosis. As a result, the mortality rate from breast cancer has dropped by over 40% since 1986! To encourage the progress of this research, we pledge to donate $1 to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation for every training session sold during the month of October.
Gift to the community
In addition to this contribution, we've made a few purchases from the Pink Shop on the Foundation's website to give back to our community. Later this month, we'll be holding two (2) draws on our Facebook page (@Academiesb). Participants will have a chance to win a gift basket filled with these products.
If you'd also like to contribute to the cause, we invite you to browse the various items in the Boutique rose. The profits raised will enable the Foundation to continue its fight against breast cancer, and to help Quebec families affected by it in one way or another.
